Reading this book has given me a different perspective on reasons some are overweight and the cycle of losing and gaining weight. I will never think about food and dieting the same way.

another wonderful book illustrating why diets don’t work! March 12, 2014

This book does a wonderful job explaining why so many diets fail but also offers real helpful advice on how to solve weight problems without beating yourself up. Great read, one that should be given to every young girl (and boy as well) to help prevent weight gain from the source.

Change how we diet., March 9, 2014
Amy Yelk “Amy of Amy’s Touch” (Mesa, AZ USA)
Diet can mean so many things, but it has been taken advantage of and is literally making people ill and fat. This book shares insights about dieting, which you may or may not know about. It is worth the money to read this book.

But then there’s the person who just isn’t ready to “see the truth – and it stuck in the un-ending cycle of dieting. It breaks my heart to read what she wrote – but someday, she too may be ready to break out of this self-destructive pattern…

The author does a good job of addressing my fears in the beginning of the book. She really drew me in and got me excited that there may actually be an answer. I used to weigh over three hundred pounds. The only method to lose weight that ive found is to…you guessed it, eat less and exercise more. Starting out i could eat 2000 or more calories a day and i would exercise for maybe an hour or 30 minutes a few times a week. the more weight i lost the more i had to exercise and the less i could eat. now its 1300 a day and two hours of exercise a day. (LL: my emphasis) Granted im still trying to lose weight but its frustrating as hell. im tired and im hungry dammit. im afraid when i finally reach my goal ill have to starve myself and kill myself exercising to maintain it. This book addresses those fears but offers absolutely nothing helpful. avoid stress. eat slowly. love yourself. yeah. thanks.

Are you ready to take a different path to attaining your happy weight? I encourage you to read Diet Industry Lies” with an open mind, and a loving heart for yourself. It can make all the difference in your life!
